This article was interesting to me because it is a study of visual arts and music in the U. S. over the last eight years. I'm am particularly interested in the ideas that the study measured creativity as well as understanding and interpreting historical pieces of art and music. While those are important for students to understand, general creativity is vital for both the work force and personal satisfaction. Hopefully, this study will help people understand the importance of funding and providing time for the arts.
