Places visited
I got to visit with Noah as well as take him to school. We also went with Brian to Sesame Place in Langhorn, Pennsylvania for a morning where Noah was able to go trick-or-treating!
Another day Noah was not feeling well enough to go to school so I was able to spend the day reading and playing games with him. I was sorry he was sick but we had fun doing quiet things together.
I met Brian, Bea and Noah at the Staten Island Ferry terminal one day and we walked past the Native American Museum, a fountain whose spray changed that Noah found fascinating, and looked in Oculus on our way to Columbus Park in Chinatown where Noah had fun playing on the playground. We at ate at Nom Wah Tea Parlor, a dim sum restaurant that is so popular that we waited forty minutes for a seat. The food was great and served piping hot. A unique experience! We then took the subway to Times Square, checked in to the hotel where Noah loved the view, and then went to the M&M store. The weather was great and we had a wonderful day!
Derek and I met Rachel at Isopos Downtown Pizza in Schenectady, New York. We had the sandwich special and it was delicious! Everything they make is homemade and wonderful. Best of all, we got to see Rachel!
My mother, Barbara, Richard and I went to the Chocolate Expo held at Museum Village in Monroe, New York. We got to talk, sample items, and see not only the vendors but also Museum Village. The weather was beautiful and the tents were packed with people.
We then picked up Derek and went to Delancys in Goshen, New York for a fine meal. Since it was not crowded we could talk at our leisure and get caught up with everyone had been doing. It was a great day!
Derek and I drove to Saratoga for a dental appointment and a little shopping. On the way home we stopped at the Apollo Saugerties Diner in Saugerties, New York, a place we always enjoy. We had a good time talking and listening to podcasts on the drive.
