Places Visited
Rachel, Taran, Brian and Noah came for the New Year's Eve weekend. We played games, went swimming, read books, exchanged presents, visited my mother, and talked. Rachel brought food for us to share. In addition, we had brunch at Equilibrium in Middletown, New York, spent an afternoon at The Castle in Chester, New York, and got a pizza from Brother Bruno's in Chester, New York. We had a fun-filled weekend!
One day I did a little shopping on the New York/Vermont border. It was a nice drive and I found out a lot of information that I was looking for.
My neighbors invited me to a farewell dinner at the Goshen (NY) Diner. We had a lovely time talking during a delicious meal. I will really miss them.
I went to The Cloisters in New York City with Bea, Brian, and Noah. It was wonderful to see them and to get to walk through The Cloisters as we discussed the great exhibits there. Afterwards, we had lunch at Popeye's at the Vince Lombardi Rest Stop on the New Jersey Turnpike. It was a very nice ending to a marvelous time with them.
Bridget came for a farewell visit. We had a great time catching up on the happenings in our lives while eating Dunkin' Donuts that she brought. She took the stones my mother collected over the years and I feel especially good that they are going to a place where they will be appreciated.
I went to the "E-Me2!: Einstein Revisited" program at the Chester (NY) Library. It was the first presentation that the group is preparing for an opening in New York City. It was an innovative production full of interesting information.
