Places Visited
Rachel and I took two trips to Vermont. On the first trip we stopped to eat at the Moose Kaboose Tavern in Hoosick Falls, New York. It was an interesting place, and the meal was delicious. On the second trip, we ate lunch at The Creek House Diner and then had a creemy at the Otter Creek Fun Center on the drive back to New York. Both trips were great! We got to spend time together and see the beautiful fall foliage in Vermont.
Rachel and Taran also came to visit for a weekend. We got to read stories, play games, play with little trucks, talk, and to The Castle. We had great fun!
The next day, Brian and Noah joined us for a trip to Legoland New York where, although it was crowded, we all got to see it. Rachel, Taran and I had an especially good time looking at the miniature section, watching a show, and the playgrounds. We came back to my house for dinner that night.
The following day, we all had breakfast at iHop in Monroe, New York, before Rachel and Taran left for home. Then Brian, Noah and I went apple picking at Masker's Orchard in Warwick, New York. There were lots of apples on the trees, the orchard was not crowded, and the view was spectacular. We then had a little rest, ate dinner that they brought, and played games. It was a wonderful day!
I met Rachel in Albany and then we went to Papa Pete's of Bennington, Vermont: Best Food in Town, At the Foot of the Woodford Mountain where we met Brian for breakfast. We looked around the area together and enjoyed the sites and the fall colors. Before we left, we had a late lunch at Ramunto's Brick Oven Pizza. The food and sites were great, and we especially enjoyed being able to spend time together. It was a great day!
