Places Visited
Jon, Rachel, Taran, and a friend met with me at the Via Port Mall in Rotterdam, New York. We went the aquarium there which we all enjoyed. Then we ate at Super Tacos at the food court. The food was delicious and the boys and I got to play on the rides while the food was being prepared. It was a fun day!
I had a banana caramel pancake with a mug of hot chocolate at Denny's in Newburgh, New York, for lunch one day. I enjoyed it very much!
Rachel met me in Goshen, New York where we visited my mother. Everyone enjoyed looking at the pictures Rachel brought and talking together.
Brian, Noah and I took a trip to Baltimore, Maryland. We ate at Phillips Seafood in the inner harbor before walking on to the National Aquarium. The food was very good and the restaurant was beautiful. We really enjoyed looking at everything in the very large aquarium, the live show about squinks, watching the feeding of the fish that squirted water into the air to catch a cricket, and the 4D shark movie.
We checked into the Homewood Suites in the inner harbor, then went for a walk of the area which was very interesting.
When we got back to the hotel Brian prepared a delicious pasta dinner. We talked, ate and had a very nice evening.
The next day we walked along the waterfront, then drove to Federal Hill where there was a beautiful view of Baltimore. We looked at the view and statues before driving on to the Baltimore Museum of Industry. It is a very interesting museum that tells about the many innovations that happened in Baltimore. It has a hands on exhibits and a lot of information that we were unaware of. Because it is on the inner harbor, the view outside is wonderful as well. We went outside to see that gorgeous view as well. It was a marvelous trip!
