Places Visited
Rachel, Taran and I went to the Discover Center at the Albany Pine Bush Preserve in Albany, New York. The day was nice so we were able to walk and play outside as well as inside. We then went to Mazadar, also in Albany, for lunch. It was a great place to eat and Taran not only enjoyed the food but also the music. It was wonderful to see them!
I visited Derek for an evening as he was recovering. It was nice to see him and we are both looking forward to his being able to do more.
Brian and Noah came to visit for a couple of days. We played board and card games plus Minecraft. We also visited the West Point Museum and the West Point Visitor's Center. We bought and put together toy shelves in addition to playing with the toys. I had a marvelous time with them!
Brian came to help me during and after my cataract surgery. I really appreciate his help, the sacrifice his family made so he could help me, and I enjoyed being able to talk with him during those days.
