Places Visited
I was invited to Noah's end-of-year festivities one afternoon and enjoyed everything the classes presented. There were a variety of excellent presentations by the students and Noah played a piano solo superbly. I enjoyed the entire program.
Before leaving for the festivities, Brian, Bea, Noah and I had lunch. Bea made filled rolls and I brought a rhubarb pie. It was a great afternoon!
I also got to go to Noah's science fair one day. All of the exhibits were interesting and explained well. I was very happy to see Noah's project on WWII. Before the science fair, Brian made pizza for lunch and then Brian and I took a walk in a park close to the school after the science fair. It was a great day!
For Noahs birthday, I was invited to visit them, then go to Rodizio Grill: A Brazilian Steakhouse in their area. It was a great day to see and talk to them as well as play games. The food at Rodizio was delicious too. I had a wonderful time!
Taran graduated from preschool and I got to go to his graduation. We then played in the Berne, New York, Town Park followed by a delicious lunch at The Bubbling Brook Watering Hole & Eatery in Berne. After eating we walked around the outside picnic area and stream behind the restaurant. It was a wonderful day!
Brian, Bea, and Noah met me at the Vincent Lombardi Park and Ride off the New Jersey Turnpike for a trip into the Manhattan to see The Cloisters. None of us had seen them before but we had talked about going for years. It was very interesting to see the building, the gardens, and the exhibits. Of course, it was wonderful to see and talk to Brian, Bea and Noah also!
Jon and Taran met me at Super Taco in Goshen, New York, for dinner one night. It was a wonderful meal and I heard about their day at Legoland New York. It was great to see them!
I went to Noah's piano recital with Brian and Bea one morning. Noah plays beautifully and I enjoyed the recital very much. Also, we played games, ate homemade pizza, and generally got to have a very enjoyable day!
