Places Visited
I was able to visit with Noah and Marita for three evenings. We played board games and I could hear Noah's piano lesson, read books, draw, and play Legos and play with Star Wars figures with him. I had a great time!
I made a trip to Troy, NY for a truly heartbreaking and terrible day.
Noah's school held a Holiday Shop and Christmas Caroling event that I was able to attend. The children made articles to sell and used the money to buy blankets for the Blanket of Hope Community Service Project. The children made beautiful things and their singing was delightful. I am so glad I was invited for the afternoon!
Noah played in a piano recital that I attended and loved! Noah played two songs, one being a duet with his piano teacher. He played great and so did the other students. I really liked to hear the Christmas songs played by everyone.
Rachel. Taran and a friend came for a couple of days and Brian and Noah also came for a couple of days. Their days overlapped so we were all able to read books, play games, talk and eat together. It was wonderful to celebrate the holiday time with them!
I was able to meet with Noah, Brian, Bea and her mother to exchange presents and have a delicious Christmas dinner! In addition, we played games and took a walk in a park near their house. It was a great day and I appreciate the many presents they gave me.
On a warm day I took a walk in downtown Goshen to look at the holiday decorations.
