I enjoyed a walk in The Mile-Around Woods in North Bennington, Vermont, on nice summer day.
Brian, Bea, and I went to Noah's science fair and had a wonderful time viewing the demonstrations and the history behind them. Before we left, Bea made fried chicken and muffins for lunch and afterwards we all went to Pelican's Snoballs in Mt. Laurel, New Jersey. It was a great summer day!
I thrilled to be able to attend Noah's End-of-Year Festivities one evening. They were held outside, and Noah started them off by expertly playing a lively piano piece. It was a wonderful evening with song, instrumental, and dance performances. At the end, there was a delicious catered dinner. It was a lovely way to end the year. I then stayed overnight at the Comfort Inn in Westhampton, New Jersey.
Rachel, Jon, and I attended the end-of-year picnic for Taran at Thatcher Park in Vooreesville, New York. The teachers planned games that children liked, and Rachel made sandwiches for us that we really enjoyed. It was a fine summer morning and a great way to end the school year!
Brian, Bea and I attended Noah's piano recital, and it was marvelous. Noah played two songs beautifully, and we enjoyed hearing the songs played by the other students as well. I am so proud of Noah and the work he has done to be able to play so well. After the recital, we went to Olive Garden in Cherry Hill, New Jersey for a delicious lunch. It was a wonderful day!
Rachel and Taran came to spend a weekend with me. We had so much fun! We read books, played with toys, played games, talked, ate, played with a boomerang, and generally had a good time. They brought a lot of food from an Indian market near them that will be fun for me to try. They also helped me a little around the house. We went to Bennington, Vermont, a couple of times where we got to see the Pride parade. We also had fish and chips at Lil' Britain Fish and Chip Shop as well as bagels at Benner's Bagels Pizza N' What Nosh. Both places had delicious food. I really enjoyed their visit!
