Places visited
I was able to visit Derek four times and even though it was for a doctors' appointments, I enjoyed being able to see and visit with him as he continues to heal. We had three Wendy's meals and on one of the visits we got some glass for his tabletop. That made us both feel good.
Brian, Bea, Noah and I met in Lancaster, Pennsylvania for a weekend. We walked and played in beautiful Long's Park where we also got to see the animals in the petting zoo even though the zoo was closed. The weather was warm and sunny which made our time outside especially great. We also ate at the Shady Maple Smorgasbord where there were so many different types of foods that we could not even sample them all. Everything we did sample was delicious! Brian, Bea and Noah swam in the pool while I got to watch them and read. It was wonderful to see them!
