Places Visited
Brian, Bea, and Noah came to visit and we went to the West Point Museum and Fort Montgomery, which we always enjoy. Unfortunately, there was a storm in my area that took out the electricity just as they came and it was out for the entire time of their visit. However, we were able to play board games and card games, as well as visit with each other. We also had take-out and went to IHOP for breakfast. It turned out to be a great weekend!
I also visited Derek six times. While we are still going to doctors' appointments, we were able to take a short walk on the Empire State Trail one day, something we had both been wanting to do. It is a great trail and we the part we walked on was along the Hudson River. We also visited the Burden Iron Works Museum after shopping one of the days. It is a great museum and we had an interesting, informative, and very entertaining tour. Other days, we ate food from Iron Works and Subway at his place while talking. As always, it was wonderful to see him!
I also went to see Taran for his birthday, and, of course, his parents as well as a special friend. Taran is growing up to be such a wonderful boy! He took me for a walk to see the sites at his place and then sat with me to eat. What a marvelous day!
Brian, Bea, and Noah came to spend a weekend with me. We played games, read books, ate, and talked before I drove them to Boston Logan airport. On the way, we ate at an Outback Steakhouse. It was a great weekend!
