Places Visited
My mother and I, along with some relatives, went to visit Derek, Rachel and Dave in the Albany area. They stayed in the Gideon Putnam Resort in the Saratoga Spa State Park in Saratoga Springs, New York while I stayed with Rachel and Dave. We ate had a delicious meal at Bellini's in Clifton Park and went back to Derek's for desert and conversation. The next morning we went to the resort for breakfast, then to the Saratoga Automobile Museum. We walked around downtown Saratoga Springs and then at the Golden Corral in Colonie. It was wonderful to be with the family for Easter!
I visited the Cooper-Hewitt National Design Museum and saw the Fashioning Felt exhibit. It showed an ancient textile made modern, featuring the felt in high-impact, contemporary clothing, furniture, and other uses. I was lucky enough to arrive just in time for a docent led talk, which was great!
