Places visited
I visited Derek five times, some for overnight stays. While the visits were for doctor and dentist appointments, plus a day when he was not feeling well, the news was basically good as he continues to heal and, of course, I always like to see him. we were able to get take out from Wendy's, Chicken Joes, and Subway, all in Troy, New York. We watched YouTube shows about tiny houses and took walks. It is always great to see him!
I spent a weekend with Noah, Brian, Bea, and her mother. We went to the Lee Turkey Farm and Longwood Gardens. We also played games, ate, talked and had a good time together. It was a great weekend!
Noah, Brian, Bea, and her mother visited me for a long weekend. We played games, ate, picked apples at Maskers Orchard in Warwick, New York, and had a great time together! We also had takeout from the Ming Town Chinese Restaurant in Chester, NY and walked on the Tappan Zee/Gov. Mario Cuomo Bridge with its marvelous view of the Hudson River and we saw passenger trains going into the city. The weather was perfect all weekend and we had a wonderful time together!
I met Taran, Rachel, and Jon in Woodstock, New York where we walked in the town as we talked. We got take out from the YumYum Noodle Bar and ate in a main town square. I also got to hold Taran's hand and talk to him as we walked. It was a lovely day and I was so happy to see them!
