This is the time of year when I like to begin thinking about the new school year. I have reflected on the last year and the new year is still far enough away not to worry about but close enough to plan for. I wonder if there is a study that shows whether student creative thought is affected over time when they know that a computer reads their work rather than a human. In my college classes, students do not like the idea that they have spent time and effort on an essay that a person may never read.
