Places Visited
Derek and I ate lunch at Kelley Jean's in Goshen, New York. It is the only restaurant that we have been to outside of the Niagara Falls area that serves beef on kemilweck rolls. They were delicious and we enjoyed eating at the restaurant.
Derek and I ate at Blue Chip Burger in Middletown, New York where we had burgers made with grass-fed beef and organic ice cream with no colors or preservatives. Everything was delicious and the small rustic dining room was comfortable. Although the weather was cold when we were there, we could see that the windows could be opened on warm days to make it feel like you were eating on a porch.
I met Brian, Bea, Noah, and Bea's cousin in New York City. We toured the Intrepid, then went to Central Park for a picnic and to visit the zoo there. I hadn't realized how big the zoo was in Central Park. It was a sunny, warm day, perfect for walking around New York City!
Derek and I drove to Saratoga Springs, New York, and then stopped by to Jon for his birthday. We always love seeing Scruffy and the chickens. It was such a beautiful day that we did not go in the house to see the cats and bunny. They are fun to see and play with too, though. And, of course, we missed Rache! Nevertheless, it was great to see Jon and wish him a happy birthday with a package of chocolate from Krause's Homemade Candy in Albany, New York.
Derek and I also ate at Tai Pan Chinese Restaurant in Clifton, Park, one of my favorite Chinese restaurants.
