Places Visited
Rachel, Jon, Taran, a friend and I met at Bailiwick Animal Park & Riding Stables in Catskill, New York. We had a great time walking around the zoo and playing at the playground. Afterwards, we had a delicious meal at Red Rooster Roadhouse in Cairo, New York. We also exchanged presents and I was thrilled to get such thoughtful homemade gifts from them. It was marvelous to see and talk with them. It was a great day!
Brian, Bea and Noah came for a visit and left Noah with me for a few days. We had a great time playing board and card, games, reading books, talking together and baking an apple pie. One day we played miniature golf in Washingtonville and then got a meal to take home from McDonald's in Chester. Another day we went to the West Point Museum and ate lunch at Olive Garden. On the day Noah got picked up to go home we went to Bear Mountain State Park where they went swimming, I got to read by Hessian Lake, and we all had a picnic. It was a marvelous week!
