Places Traveled
Brian came home and we went to the Hacienda Restaurant in Goshen, New York. We had wanted to go there for years and were finally able to. The new owners have made it so the eating on the porch that surrounds the restaurant would be a relaxing experience but it was so hot the day we went that we ate inside. We had a very nice meal and the decorations, especially the chairs, were charming for me. After we ate, we walked on the Heritage Trail and then went to visit my mother in Glen Arden. It was a great day!
In fact, I liked the Hacienda Restaurant in Goshen, New York so much that when Rachel, Jon and Derek came to visit I suggested we go there too! We were able to eat on the porch because the temperature was perfect for eating outdoors. We visited my mother in Glen Arden and set her computer up on a desk Jon and Rachel brought. Afterwards, they all helped me repair my clothesline. To end a perfect day, we ate strawberry/blueberry/orange cupcakes with wine/buttercream frosting that they brought.
I also was able to spend two weekends with Noah while his parents, one at a time, traveled. Bea and I picked him up from school once and then we played in the backyard. Noah, Bea, her mother and I went for a walk in a nearby park. It was big, beautiful park. The day was very hot but the park was shady. My foot hurt so I waited in the shade for a little while while the others walked. It was quite relaxing.
On the second weekend, I also got to play with Noah in his sandbox. Brian, Noah and I also went to the Camden Aquarium, a place we all enjoy. I even went on the Shark Bridge again!
