Places Visited
I visited with Rachel and her family at their place. We played, read books, and had a picnic with food from Curry Patta in Altamont, New York. It was great to see them in person!
I then visited with Derek. We did a little shopping and talked while eating food from Wendy's. It was wonderful to talk with him as he continues to recover.
I also spend another six days this month with Derek going to doctors and the healing process is progressing well. We were able to share a fast food meal on four of the days at his apartment as we talked which was very nice. We also were able to make a short drive around the area three of the days.
One day I visited Brian, Bea and Noah. We started the day with delicious strawberry shortcake that Bea made using strawberries they had picked the day before I came. I heard Noah beautifully play the piano and saw some of his new possessions before we went to Washington's crossing. We walked around the park there on both the New Jersey and Pennsylvania side. Noah explained many things that I did not know about the event. We then went to eat at a Texas Roadhouse in Bensalem, Pennsylvania. Before I left, Noah showed me the book from his school with a page of his writing and a picture he had drawn. It was a wonderful day!
Brian and Noah came for a weekend visit. We celebrated Noah's birthday by going to the West Point museum, Fort Montgomery's Visitor's Center, opening presents, playing games, reading books, making s'mores, and having a great time together!
