Places Visited
My mother and I visited Saratoga Springs, New York. On the way, we stopped to have lunch with Rachel at the Scotia Diner in Scotia, NY. On the way home, we had root beer floats at the Saugerties Diner/Lounge in Saugerties, NY. The people there are very friendly making it the perfect ending to a wonderful day!
Derek came home for a couple of days and we went to Pizza Hut in Goshen, NY for the lunch buffet. We also visited my mother in Goshen. On Easter, my motherand all of my children and their familes came home to have Easter at my house. We also went on a walk on the Heritage Trail in Goshen. I had a marvelous time!
I got to go to San Antonio, Texas for a week with my relatives from New Jersey. I began my trip with a day in Willingboro, New Jersey. We flew to New Jersey then spent our first day in San Antonio visiting the missions, then swimming in the hotel pool. We ate lunch at Rudy's and shopped a little at Cosco. It was a hot, humid, lovely day. On the second day, we went to the Tower of Americas and watched a 4-D movie about Texas. We ate along the Riverwalk at Casa Rio Mexican Foods. On the third day, we took a walk on the Riverwalk and then we took the boat ride on it. We shopped a little and played in the malls playground area. The weather was perfect both days. .The fourth day we spcnt the day at the San Antonio Zoo. We walked around and played in the children's area in the morning. Then we went to the nearby Snow Un restaurant for Vietnamese food. Then we went back to the zoo. On the way home we stoped at Augies's Barbed Wire Smoke House and took back barbeque to eat at night.
While I was in San Antonio, my sister visited my mother. I got to see them a little on each side of the trip and we had lunch at Glen Arden and at the Goshen Plaza Diner. It was wonderful that she could come!
