Places Visited
I was able to visit Derek five times. Once again, we went to doctor's appointments but we were able to shop some also. I always enjoy seeing him! Rachel and Taran met with us for a little shopping one of the times which really made that visit special! Unfortunately, three of the times were for stays in the hospital. I met Rachel there once, which was a high point.
Taran and I got to spend and evening and a morning together playing and reading books at his house. I also was able to see Rachel and Jon while I was there. We then all went to visit Derek for a little while. I had a great time! Scruffy came back with me and spent time with me through Christmas.
Rachel, Jon, Taran, Brian, Bea, Noah, and Mariati came to my home for Christmas! We had special meals on both Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. We also opened presents at my house, with my mother in Goshen, New York and with Derek in Albany, New York. Brian, Noah and I went to see the Capital City Light Show in Albany. We stayed in a nice hotel at Crossgates Mall. Brian, Noah, Rachel and Taran went swimming in their pool while Jon and I watched. It was a great holiday and thoughtful of everyone to make each others days happy.
