Places Traveled
Derek came home for a visit and we took my mother shopping and then to the Jumbo Buffet in Middletown, New York. We enjoyed being able to spend time together.
On the way back to Albany, we stopped to see Rachel and Jon. Together we went to an ally can eat breakfast at the American Legion in Altamont, New York. Afterwards we walked to a craft fair at the elementary building. It was great to see and be able to talk with them.
I also visited Derek in Albany, New York on another day. We drove to downtown Albany, right past the governor's mansion. There were a lot of police cars and even trailers with police horses in them in front of the governor's mansion. It was a rainy day but we enjoyed it anyway and ended the day with a delicious hamburger at Juicy Burgers in Albany!
I spent a day with Brian, Bea and Noah in New York City. We took the subway (Noah's first ride!), went to the Natural History Museum where we saw a special crocodile exhibit (the shells were Noah's favorite) and then walked a little in Central Park. The day was exceptionally warm for mid-November. It was a wonderful day!
I was llucky enough to have everyone come to my house for Thanksgiving! My children and their families brought most of the delicious food.
