Places Visited
After going to the John G. McCullough Free library in North Bennington, Vermont one day, I walked across the street to Huluppu: A Magical Bookshop. It was interesting and the owner showed me the beautiful quilts from India. I enjoyed the visit.
Rachel, Jon, Taran and I had a GT Party (Grandma and Taran Party) celebrating Taran and my birthdays on nice summer afternoon. We had a delicious lunch at the Halfmoon Diner in Clifton Park, New York, then fun playing miniature golf at Pirate's Hideout in Waterford, New York followed by ice cream at a picnic table there. It was great seeing and talking with them!
One morning I took a drive to Lake Shaftsbury State Park where I read in the shade by the beach. On the way home I stopped at Clear Brook Farm to see what was there. They sell fresh fruit and vegetables as well as plants. I was especially interested to see that they sell plants labeled native to the region.
I found the Bennington Path in downtown Bennington, Vermont but only walked a little way on it because the day was very hot. I turned around and walked downtown for lunch at Lil' Britain Fish and Chips Shop that I really like in Bennington.
