Brian and I took a day trip to Vermont and got to drive through a covered bridge. We looked around North Bennington, got scones at Moon Scones, and then on the way back stopped to eat at the Moose Caboose Tavern. We had a wonderful, productive day!
Rachel and I took a day trip to Vermont. We also looked around the North Bennington area and then had a delicious lunch at Benson's Family Restaurant. Then we met Jon and Taran at Knox Town Park where we looked at Christmas trees decorated by various organizations and people. Next, we went to their house for brownies from the Benson Family Restaurant, tea, listening to Taran reading a book and looking at his projects, and a rousing game of Go Fish. It was a fun and productive day also!
I was invited to Noah's piano recital, and it was wonderful! He plays so well, and I am so proud of the work he has done to be such an accomplished player. It is always great to hear him play and to see his family too. I also brought home some delicious food which I was grateful for.
I also got to go to the Christmas caroling program at Noah's school with Bea and Brian. It was a great program that I enjoyed very much and, once again, it was wonderful to see them!
I spent Christmas with Noah, Brian, Bea, her mother and her cousin. We had a lovely time eating, opening presents, playing a game, and talking, and taking a walk together. It was a great day!
Books Read

Turkey Trouble by Wendi Silvano
