Places visited
I spent a long weekend with Noah and Bea. I got to go with Bea to pick Noah up from school and then we read books, ate and played for the evening.
On Saturday, Noah, Bea, her mom and I went to Renaissance Fair at Liberty Lake, New Jersey. It was a lot of fun! There was a Pirate Ship playground, a jousting match with horses and knights, and a glassblowing demonstration. Bea also tried throwing knives into a block of wood. Noah watched one of the shows twice he liked it so much, an archery demonstration, and then he was able to shoot his own arrows. He loved it!
Afterwards, we ate a diner where the food was delicious and the servings were so large that we ordered two adult meals and a child's portion for the four of us and still took some home. It was a great day!
The next day, Noah, Bea and I went to a trampoline place where Noah could jump on trampolines, jump into a pit with foam blocks and build with the blocks. He had a wonderful time and never stood still.
The rest of the day, Noah and I got to read books and play with his toys. The highlight for me was that he learned to use his scooter!
I spent another weekend with Bea and Noah. We had a wonderful time and I was there for his birthday. We opened presents the next day along with Brian and Bea's mother. I was very happy to be there for that!
Derek and I went to Schenectady for a doctor's visit and were able to have lunch with Rachel at 99RRant in the Rotterdam Mall. It was wonderful to see her and catch up with what she is doing. Derek and I also walked around the mall a little.
I went to see Bea and Noah for additional few days. I got to take Noah to school and pick him up. I also took him to gymnastics. I am amazed at how hard he works and how well he does what the coach asks him to even when no one is watching him. I am enjoying watching him grow up to be such as great boy!
