Places Visited
I got to watch one of Noah's tennis classes with Brian and Bea, then have lunch with them at Olive Garden in Cherry Hill, New Jersey. After going to their home Noah played piano pieces for me and I am impressed with how well he plays. We also played games, talked, and they showed me what was new in their home. It was a marvelous day!
Rachel, Jon, and Taran l to visit on St. Patrick's weekend. We played games, read books, and generally had fun talking and eating. One day we took the train to Hoboken, New Jersey, where we walked around enjoying the sites along the Hudson River. We then had a delicious breakfast at the Choc O Pain bakery. After eating we went on a NY Waterway ferry to New York City where we stopped at two playgrounds to play and have a picnic lunch. We walked through the Irish Hunger Memorial, a moving site also called the Irish Famine Memorial, and then enjoyed the walking around the area before taking the ferry and train back home. It was a great weekend!
I attended a seed-starting workshop with Kristin Webber at the Chester (NY) Public Library. It was fun and educational. I also came home with tomato seeds planted ready to water so they can begin to grow.
