Places visited
Derek and I went to six doctor's visit, one of which was basically good news and the others were for a new but fixable issue. As always, I like to see him and we were able to get a take-out meal from Red Robin which was delicious. We stopped at Dunkin' Donuts and Burger King other times. It's very nice to be able to stop at a few different places to get something to eat. One of the days we also were able to drive and walk around the Clifton Park, New York area without going to a doctor's appointment which was great!
I also drove to JFK Airport to pick up Brian, Bea, and Noah. They stayed for the day so I got to talk to them and read a book with Noah. It was wonderful to see them!
Brian and Noah visited for a weekend and we were able to play games, read books, and generally have a good time together. I also made a quick day trip to visit them where the highlight was that I got to hear Noah play the piano and see Bea. It was a great weekend!
I met Bea and Noah at the KidStreet Playground in Bridgewater, New Jersey on Saturday. Then Noah came to my house for an overnight stay. We made cookies, pie, played games, read books, watched television, talked and generally had a great time! His parents came for remainder of the weekend and we all went to the Peach Festival at Weed's Orchards and Winery in Marlboro, New York where we got a peach pizza that was delicious. We also all played games, talked and had a good time together. It was a great weekend!
