Heavy use in this study was considered to be more than seven hours a day of screen time for 9-10 year-olds. This made me think of the time children work on or view screens at school added to the time they may use screens (TV, smartphones, etc.) at home. This is an aspect of screen time that teachers and parents need to be aware of during the school hours and also when assigning homework.
