Places Visited
I drove to the Southern Vermont Arts Center in Manchester, Vermont, on a rainy day and, unfortunately, the museum was closed because they were setting up a new exhibit. However, the drive was beautiful and the grounds looked great. I plan to go back when I can see more of the arts center.
A sad event this month was that my 25-year-old cat passed away. I miss him a great deal, but he had a happy life for twenty-five years.
I went to the Energy Fair at the Manchester Community Library in Manchester Center, Vermont, one afternoon. It was interesting and informative. Also, the library is beautiful!
I visited Rachel, Taran, and his friend on a warm summer-like afternoon while Jon had some tests done. I even got to take Taran to his piano lesson which I greatly enjoyed! It was great to unexpectedly see them.
Rachel and Taran came to accompany me to a medical visit and then to have a fun weekend together for Mother's Day. We walked to the Free Store and then had lunch at Lil' Britain in Bennington, Vermont. We also played board games, played with toys, and we all worked to make a rhubarb pie which turned out exceptional. It was a great weekend!
I went to the Williamstown, Massachusetts, Farmers Market one rainy, cold day and really enjoyed talking to the friendly people and getting some vegetables, granola, and a scone. In addition, it was by the Williamstown college, and I drove through the main street of the town. Both were interesting to see and the whole drive was beautiful to Williamstown was beautiful. I plan to go back on a day where the weather is better so I can walk around the area.
