Places visited
Brian and Noah came to visit for a long weekend. We visited many interesting places ate great food, played games and mostly had a great time! Some of the places we visited on the first day were: Hoosic Falls, New York, where we walked along the river and got a delicious blueberry buckle to share at Hoosic Provisions; we had an enjoyable time in North Adams, Massachusetts, where we had a pizza at Ramuntos, before going to the Natural Bridge State Park where we took a very interesting walk along where there used to a marble quarry, followed by a drive around the campus of the Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts; we drove past a couple of houses associated with Ethan Allen of Revolutionary War fame in Shaftsbury, Vermont, and then ended our travels on the first day with a unique apple cider donut creamee at the Sugar Shack in Arlington, Vermont.
On the second day, we visited: the Park-McCulough Historic Governor's Mansion in North Bennington, Vermont, including a walk on the Mile-Around-Woods; a drive to Mount Equinox Skyline Drive in Sunderland, Vermont, where on the way we drove through the Chiselville Covered Bridge and stopped at The Villager Peddler and Chocolatorium in East Arlington, Vermont, which had the world's largest chocolate teddy bear; and a wonderful dinner at Madison Brewing Company in Bennington, Vermont. It was a wonderful weekend!
