Computers in the Classroom

This is an undergraduate course that I am teaching at SUNY New Paltz. It is designed to introduce teacher candidates to the computer and how it may be used to support the teaching and learning process. In the course students explore, evaluate and use a variety of software, tools and Internet resources, and they use the computer and related technologies to prepare instructional materials. Some of the topics that will be covered are issues related to the use of the computer in instruction and learning, computer basics, the computer as a productivity and creativity tool and Internet resources.
